In 2011, AMC collaborated with Engro Foundation to support the rehabilitation of flood-affected communities in Ihsanpur, Kot Addu, District Muzaffargarh, following the devastating floods of 2010. The area had been entirely ravaged—homes destroyed, livelihoods lost, and basic necessities out of reach.

Recognizing the urgency and long-term impact of rebuilding with dignity, AMC designed and executed a comprehensive intervention focused on sustainable community development. This included:

• Thoughtfully designed housing units tailored to the local climate and cultural context
• Access to clean drinking water
• Underground sewerage systems for improved sanitation and health
• Community parks and open spaces to restore a sense of normalcy and community cohesion
